Randall Posted March 24, 2005 Share Posted March 24, 2005 12 07, 2004 The commissioner of Major League Baseball, Bud Selig, underwent surgery on Monday to have a cancerous lesion removed from his forehead. Selig had the procedure preformed at New York's Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Doctors used a skin graft to repair the area where the cancerous melanoma skin lesion was removed. The lesion was discovered last month during a routine check up. A biopsy showed the cancer had not spread and was confined to the spot removed Monday.
