If you find someone that might have what you need and you're not sure about what would be a fair offer come back and post looking for suggestions. You need depth and could use an upgrade at RB. If you spend Walker and Caddy, you will argueably make yourself worse at BOTH positions and at best only marginally deeper. From all of your comments, he is trying to deal from a position of strength and prey upon your weakness. You have some work to do. But if you focus on getting it done quick, you might just make it so you cant do it right. Shop around, I cannot believe this is your best deal. The guy with portis wants a WR and a RB. what should i offer? 860106[/snapback] For Portis, obviously either of your RBs and pretty much any of your WRs, maybe no TO, but any of the other's and it's not too bad of a deal, but, you are left still with no RB depth and less WR depth, so you are still in the hole, just with an improved starting RB. Big Country Posted June 30, 2005 Share Posted June 30, 2005 In looking at it again, I think a major problem is that you only have 13 roster spots in a league requiring 9 starters. This means that with only 4 backups total per team, there has to be some RBs that went undrafted that may have some potential, and, based on the offers you've been getting, you're probably better off dumping your 3rd TE or 6th WR for one or two of them.
