Avernus
I had no clue that A Green, Deuce, DD and Foster were in contract years... interesting...
skylive5
McAllister signed a six-year contract with the Saints in August of 2001. Financial terms were not disclosed. The final year of the deal was voided, meaning McAllister is scheduled to be a free agent at the end of the 2005 season. Green signed a five-year extension with the Packers in July of 2001. Foster signed a four-year deal worth $5 million in July 2002, according to the Associated Press. No date for this one: The Houston Chronicle reported that Davis and the Texans agreed to terms on a three-year contract worth $1.24 million. It included a $334,000 signing bonus. CaptainHook
Rudi Johson? How can he be in a contract year? Didn't he just sign a new deal? And Travis Henry shouldn't be on that list either. He just signed an extension with the Titans. Chris Brown should be on that list, I think. Anthony Thomas is now with Dallas. Jesse Chatman was recently cut by the Chargers Edited July 28, 2005 by CaptainHook

Brown has two years remaining on his original contract. Edited July 28, 2005 by skylive5

I'm pretty sure he's not in the last year of his contract. Are you sure about Brown?
skylive5
I cut the note about Brown out of an article about him and Henry. EDIT: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6429/news No ..Rudi should not be on the list according to this.... I assume that it was after 23 June...but who knows. Johnson signed the one-year franchise tender offer of $6.3 million in March 2005. Further negotiations yielded the long-term deal Rudi was seeking: a five-year, $26 million contract with $12 million in guaranteed money. According to ESPN, Johnson will receive $16 million over the first three years and is structured to assure low cap numbers for the length of the deal. For example, in the final year of the contract in 2009, Johnson's cap number is $4.8 million. Edited July 28, 2005 by skylive5
