yankee22ap
Mike Williams WR DET from USC. What does everyone think about him?
Perchoutofwater
I heard on the ESPN radio that the Lions were not going to Rush Mike Williams into the line up. Basically they said in the past they had rushed both Roy Williams and Charles Rogers in out of necessity primarily due to lack of talent at the position. Now that they already have two talented WR's they will bring Williams along a little slower. My thougts are that they will probably play Rogers hard, and try to trade him at the end of the year. NAUgrad
I couldn't help but think during the game that Harrington should just throw the ball up and his receivers will come down with it. If he learns to trust them a little more, then I think he'll do better.

Charles Rogers on the other hand... meh. Rogers dropped an easy one when I was watching, and fell down on another route. Of 4 times he was targeted, he only caught one pass. I'm not sure why Detroit would have any loyalty to him since he hasn't played very much for them. Is it possible Mike Williams could beat him out? PaulOttCarruth
Right now, I think Williams is fourth string behind Williams, Rodgers and Kevin Johnson.
giantsfan
Yeah that team does have some nice WR's. Even K. Johnson isn't awful. I have to believe if Rogers is healthy he'll start along with Roy. I mean even Pollard at TE isn't a bad option. I will say this if Harrington doesn't have a good year this year he will never be a good NFL QB. Edited August 30, 2005 by giantsfan
