Seahawk37
Any word on the search for another RB to add some depth? and also is Ronnie Brown gonna be able to handle taking all the carries by himself? The guy has always split carries with someone and i am a little questionable about drafting him if i end up in a situation where I should or could. Anyways I havent heard a take from any Miami homers who know their stuff so whats the word or anyone that can give me some insurance about drafting him. MrTed46
I am not a Miami homer but I think Sammy Morris is the backup :puke: I think its safe to say he will get the majority of the carries.
blaw23
As far as I know there as been no movement on adding another RB. Sammy Morris is still listed as the backup. You can be pretty sure he won't be stealing carries from Brown. Saban is fully confident Brown can handle a full workload. They may pickup another back at some point before the season starts but it is doubtful it will be anybody to steal carries from Brown. irish
I believe I read something that said Ronnie Brown will probably backup Ronnie Brown. It also said that Ronnie Brown will be the 3rd down back and that Ronnie Brown will be the Goal line and short yardage guy. So it's going to be a RBBC between those for guys. Fantasy Jesus
It's Ronnie Brown's team now. Saban has always used multiple RB's but Ronnie will get a ton of carries this year. Morris is the backup and Kay Jay Harris will probably be 3rd string. Beasley will also get a few carries once in a while.
TDFFFreak
Ronnie Brown is the Huddle's Bizzaro Edge. Lots of love and he must have a good O-line...

You're right about most of this except the Beasley part, Barnes might get the start over him.
Fantasy Jesus
I don't think so.... Not yet at least but with Hudson Houck entering his 2nd year with the team I expect the Oline to improve as the year goes on. The last preseason game Miami experimented with with a bunch of different looks on the Oline. Going up against the Carolina Dline didn't help either. They are not as bad as they looked agianst Carolina.

Look at the Bills line they have Mcnally, But the guys they had last year were just bad. The last time I checked Miami had one of the worst linemen from the Bills last year starting for them this year at guard.
Seahawk37
Good info from everyone thanks. So with the addition of Culpepper, Ronnie Brown looks awesome to draft.

Better yet, with the addition of Culpepper, Chambers looks awesome to draft.
Seahawk37
Better yet, with the addition of Culpepper, Chambers looks awesome to draft. We'll Thats a given, Given the year Chambers had last year with Ferrote. I've noticed Culpepper loves to throw to the him and you can get him behind receivers like Smith and Harrison but I would expect Chambers to have a bigger year. This year I think it will be Wayne and Chambers leading the league in receiving.

You sound like more of a homer than me with that statement, I wouldn't go that far. But yes, expect big numbers from both of those 2.
