Harrison and Wayne combined for 180 yards on 16 receptions with 1 TDs. So Harrison + Wayne accounted for 35.5% of the receptions and 41.1% of the receiving yardage. In 2 games Tom Brady has thrown the ball 85 times completing 49 of them for 492 yards. Gaffney and Caldwell combined for 337 yards on 30 receptions with 2 TDs. So Gaffney + Caldwell accounted for 61.2% of the receptions and 68.5% of the receiving yardage. You will note that Brady had only FOUR more completions than Peyton Manning. Like I said, if Gaffney & Caldwell put up those numbers, just imagine what the numbers would be like if it were Harrison & Wayne as the WR's instead. Uh...pretty much the point is Gaffney & Caldwell aren't Harrison & Wayne, but are putting up Harrison and Wayne-like numbers. I find it remarkable that after 2 playoff games, Jabar F'n Gaffney is the leading WR in the NFL, by far. He was let go by the Texans. He couldn't make the Eagles squad this year. He was signed by NE in October and had a whopping 11 recs in the regular season. I think its a good story. You don't. To each his own. Uh....pretty much my point was if Gaffney & Caldwell did 330+ yards & 2 TD's on 40 targets, imagine what the numbers would be if it were Harrison & Wayne that brady was throwing to instead.
