untateve
What's happening with recruiting at Fla State these days? As a Gator alum, I don't care much about fsu recruiting. My guess is that everyone is recruiting against bobby's age and last few seasons.

If this whole Bush tapes scandal thing is real, (Reggie, not GW,) I think of lot of top kids will decommit in a hurry. Dammit....

GOB1
All I know is, Johnson had verballed on a couple occasions, (UM )and then a sudden change. His mother played a hugh part in this. There is rumor of foul play, on the boards, and well for Usc sake, and Johnson's I really hope this isnt true. Johnson was a hugh Um fan growing up, he stated several times he wanted to stay in state, or close to home. Michigan showed loyality when he was injured his junior year, when all other programs dumped him. There were rumors of certain emails and letters coaches were holding back from his high school coaches. I dont know, this is not over, in regards to why, but something will be reported latter this week.

Plus, Hart is the clear #1 at UM next year, while the USC RB1 is up for grabs. Or he just wants the Bush house for his folks....

Maybe that's good news for LSU if the Bush house was made available to him. Makes me wonder if Joe McKnight decided not to attend USC after all. Coffeeman
Joe McKnight should declare this morning - a real toss up between LSU and USC. I hope he chooses USC, but if I was a good ole southern LA boy, I'd probably go LSU.....

Congrats on the pick up. LSU will survive, but would have been nice to have McKnight here.

But if he's really like Bush, then a 'pounder' will have to emerge as well...
forever in debt to mo lewis
just a bit curious...as im a ND fan...i know theres all those recruiting sites like rivals and stuff...but i was just taking a quick look at the cnn top 100 and the espn top 150....espn has clausen at like #8 overall...and cnn has him 1....but what i couldnt figure out is that espn has the receiver out of tennessee, golden tate, at 11 overall and the second best receiver....cnn doesnt even have him on their top 100(unless somehow i skipped over him, but i dont think so)...and espn also has gary gray rated 13th overall and as the 2nd best corner...yet cnn has him in the 70's or the 80's overall......i realize these are just high school kids and they project differently to different people...but i still think those are pretty large discrepancies... anybody out there know anything about golden tate from tennessee and gary gray from south carolina? i think tate may have been originally considered a tailback...could have something to do with it
Coffeeman
Don't have a clue - this is all speculation anyway, and all that matters is how they play in the fall. Who cares whether Clausen is prospect #8 or #1, as long as he helps ND win over the next few years, right? Although I'm sure McKnight will lead USC to victory over ND for the next few... But we follow it because its all the football news we have between now and the NFL draft. Pro bowl and combine don't do much for me.... Greg Little selected NC and Chris Little went to Georgia. Still not a bad class for the Irish.
