Gholston is gone.

The dispatch has confirmed Jenkins WILL return to OSU and it's looking like the Bucks will only lose Gholston.

Jenkins, Hartline, and Freeman have confirmed they will all stay!!!!!

The rumor mill is saying Laurinaitis, Boone are also going to stay, but no offical news.

This is good news just in Jenkins, Robo and Freeman alone!!!!! I'm shocked Jenkins is staying.

The dispastch said he's stating he has a lot more to do at OSU.

I'm excited for next season with this group returning!!!!! OSU will have some upper classman to lead the way, which has not been the case of late.

OUTSTANDING NEWS !

Jenkins is a top 10 projected pick in the 2008 NFL Draft along with Laurinaitis. This is huge news.

OSU has 4 players projected to go in the 1st round on the 2008 NFL Draft and Jenkins-Boone and Laurinaitis are 3 of them with Gholston being the 4th.

If by some miracle we get 3 of these 4 back, that would be crazy good fortune and we should start the preseason as the #1 team , no doubt.

OSU gets past USC and of course with the BIG TEN being as weak as it is you might consider putting money into tickets for Miami.

I think you were gambling on USC to make it there. You might want to reconsider that gamble.

GO BUCKS.

I put in for 6 tickets for USC and 6 tickets for the Bucks.

I'm hoping for a great game @USC , then both teams running the table the remainder of the season, for a legitimate neutral site in Miami between the 2 teams. Hate to see yet another SEC team getting the homefield crowd and calls.

Can you send me a pm on how this all works and the website??

I'm thinking of trying to pick up a couple tickets afterI investigate my odds of course.

West Virgina could be a sneaky pick or maybe even OU.

Great. So we'll get to see OSU waltz through a subpar Big 10 again and get trounced in the National Title game by either USC or UGA - assuming OSU doesn't get trounced by USC in the regular season.

After the eggs OSU has laid the last two years vs. superior competition, hopefully the voters will give us a matchup we can enjoy instead of another ass whipping next year.

Obviously you didn't watch this year game , subtract the 5 PF calls for 75 yards and OSU wins. I don't consider that an asswhiping any more so then Michigan over Florida. So times things just go that way. How soon you forget about OSU taking down Miami in '02 :D

Alex Boone has now made it official.

Boone will return.

OSU will have to be perfect which is unlikely, but possible.

OSU get's past USC at USC it's going to be hard to keep them out.

Sorry Cyclones.

Yeah the same 02 Miami team that people were dubbing as the greatest team ever, and a team that could beat the Cincinnati Bengals. Ohio State had just as much right to play in that game as anyone else. And I don't know if you've noticed cyclones, but there HAVE been years when the Big Ten was superior to the SEC, whose to say that won't be next year? Pretty sure after the disasterous 2001 campaign no one expected the Big Ten to be as dominant as they were in 2002, but by seasons end, overall, they were by far and away the best conference. These things go in cycles. I doubt Ohio State was sleep walking vs teams like Wisconsin and Penn State, not to mention Michigan. Good thing Tennessee didn't sleep walk vs Wisconsin, otherwise they woulda got destroyed. Instead, 2 teams battled hard, and the vols won. It goes in cycles, the Big Ten will be on top sometime. Maybe next year, maybe not. Won't know until then. I guess it's just too easy to beat down a team that suffered a whopping 14 point loss in a virtual road game, a game that they were underdogs in to begin with. Maybe some people drink the kool aid and say it was a big whooping, but it's nothing like last year vs Florida. Isn't it funny how when the Big Ten suffers defeat the media jumps on it like crazy, but when they are on top, no one mentions a thing? Funny.

Sac, if they get past USC and run the table they deserve to be in the title game and you won't hear me complaining. Actually, they deserved to be there more than anyone else this year considering they took care of business better than anyone but Hawaii did. Unfortunately what many predicted would happen, did. They got beat by a team that was better prepared by a murderous schedule. Every year is different, for all we know next year the Big 10 might be the best conference. They have a ways to go though - they've been beaten soundly in 4 straight BCS games.

4 Straight? I only count 1 as Michigan beat Florida in a BCS game this season.

Care to explain that one?

Not that it wouldn't fit in quite conveniently with your rather imaginative take on reality but that wasn't actually a BCS game.

I think the accurate phrase would be "subtract the 5 PFs that OSU committed". Don't be a sour little man.

Um guys, it was a 21 pt game until OSU scored a garbage time TD with 30 seconds to go. Let's not pretend the game was closer than it was.

Yes Brian, it wasn't a beat down of biblical levels like last year. However, on the heels of last years OSU-Mich ugliness and Ill getting run off the field, it's not hard to understand why OSU was going to need to show something. And they didn't they got flat out, badly beaten.

Guess your counting the LSU garbage TD in the last 3 minutes, but OSU's doesn't count

Typical SEC ignorance

ohio state probably did have something to prove, to themselves. But lets be honest, like it or not, this was a home game for LSU, LSU was favored in the game, and they played like favorites and won. Pretty simple. Completely different animal. Ohio State went into the Florida game with EVERYONE picking them, and the favorite, and on a neutral field. Much different situation.

Well lets be fair. Last yrs FLA team would stomp this yrs LSU team by 3 TDs as well. And last yrs OSU team completely destroys this yrs LSU team.

Let's be perfectly fair. LSU dominated this ohio team. Maybe not as badly as the other SEC team did (which is small victory for the Bucks), but convincingly enough to allow our 2nd and 3rd team players a chance to play in a NC game while the 1st team removed tape, got fitted for NC caps and were dunking buckets of water on the coaches after going up 38-17. :D

By far the weakest National Champion in sports history. Having the game at home and getting FIVE 15 yard penalties to extend drives for scores was the difference. Certainly a different outcome with a more disciplined Bucks team. Beanie continued the onslaught of the defense of the Tigers that got sucker punched every week the last 7 weeks of the season. A healthy Dorsey didn't even make any difference.

Penalties - Penalties - Penalties.............worst performance I've seen from a Bucks team in my lifetime, and now look what LSU has to show for it. A homefield NC win. :D
