Jimmy_22
I'm 2-6 but still plan on winning the Super Bowl. Made a big trade this week - gave up Charles and DJax for Calvin Johnson - hoping that will pay off. Anyone else feel that they have a good team and can still make the playoffs? QB - Vick, Ryan RB - Rice, Torain, Lynch, McGahee, Ivory WR - Megatron, AJohnson, DBess, Driver TE - ZMiller, Cooley, Shockey (picked up to cover Miller this week) D - Vikings (this week only) K - Gostkowski
Qball86
2-6 but only two games out of the last playoff spot...still alive! 4 other teams have had 200 points less scored against them this year, 3 losses against top point scorer of the week. The schedule should be swinging around now for a chance at redemption. QB - P Manning, Kitna, Fitzpatrick RB - Charles, BJGE, Blount, Lynch, PThomas WR - AJohnson, J Knox(Due to Harvins ankle), Percy Harvin, Braylon TE - No TE Required, Flex Player D - Steelers, Saints K - Vinatieri(Keading hurt) What do you think of trading Manning for Megatron and BJGE for Vick? Right now I play 3 RBs and 2 WRs but could play 2 RBs and 3WRs. Do I want Charles and Blount with AJ, CJ and Knox/Harvin with Vick at QB or the lineup above in bold? Not to brag, but this is the first year I haven't had a dud team. Of course, this year I also scaled back to two leagues, so it is not as if this is a remarkable feat (5-3 and 4-3-1). Last year I started 1-5 in one league and made the playoffs, though: you never know when a player will appear out of nowhere to light up your team. I remember losing Priest Holmes in 2004 to injury, and almost simultaneously I snagged Willis McGahee on the WW: while he was no Priest Holmes, he did save my awful-looking RB situation enough for me to scratch my way back into the playoffs. I also remember snagging LenDale White in 2008 off the WW, mostly as a ploy to the CJ owner, and he ended up being a solid RB2 / borderline RB1 the second half. efi4eye
I'm 3-5 in a 16 team PPR league with 1 IDP player. Highest scoring team in my division, but also last in my division! I'm really hoping to come on strong in the 2nd half QB- Cutler, Fitzpatrick RB- MJD, Bradshaw, Blount WR- Nicks, Jennings, Smith NYG, M Williams TB TE- Shiancoe, Olsen DST- Steelers D K- J Hanson IDP - DeAngelo Hall, Pollard, Laurinaitis I feel like it's a pretty kickass team for being in a 16-teamer and having such a bad record

satelliteoflovegm
I'm 3-5 but just beat the division leader who is now 5-3. 12 team 17 year old keeper league. Schaub (Orton bye) AP Probably Donald Brown this week (Weak other options each week. Brandon JAckson, Marion BArber) Andre Johnson Lee Evans on a hunch over Brandon MArshall Jacob Tamme (Had Clark) Cundiff (Had Kaeding) Patriots (Had Ravens) They just haven't put it together in the same week and I am the second worst points against team in the league. Won it in 2005. 2006 missed playoffs. Won 2007, 2008 missed playoffs. Won it in 2009, 2010 ???

In one league the leader is 7-1, but his PA average is 10 percent below the league average. This has helped win at least two games, and on the other end the #3 PF team is 3-5 because teams always seem to get hot when they play him. When I have troubles they always seem to be in lineup selection: I second guess myself sometimes and make last minute decisions that screw myself over. I am in second place in points in both my leagues, just a smidgen behind the leaders in each, but I have made a couple of costly decisions that kept me from being at least 7-1. In the league in which I am 4-3-1, the team I tied had to share top scoring honors with me. We both racked up 135 points in standard scoring, but we wound up with the proverbial sister-kiss. Sometimes luck (good or bad) just wins out in FF.

Cy_Hawk
I'm 1-7 in my most important league (12 team redraft, .5 PPR, start 3 WR). This league is a mess this year; totally bereft of a dominant team. One team is 6-2 by sheer dumb luck; another team is 1-7 & he's 2nd in PA (I'm first in PA by quite a big margin). We play through week 14 for regular season (championship game week 17...yeah, I know), so if I were 2-6, I'd still feel like I had a shot, but 1-7 is too steep a hill to climb...I'd need extraordinary luck, and since I've had none this year, I'm not expecting any. My team: Rodgers/Orton/Freeman (picked him up after week 1 thinking trade down the road) Mendy/Mathews/Tolbert/FJax/Blount/Reggie Bush Ward/Maclin/Tampa Mike/Knox/Lance Moore Mason Crosby Bears/Chiefs I'm only the 5th highest scoring team, but trail the 3rd highest team by only 7 pts. Opponent WRs have been absolutely blowing up against me for some reason (Boldin, Nicks, Lloyd, TO, etc.)... This week I get to face Roddy & Calvin...
