Big John
It was an offensive TD fumble recovery
montster
I was watching the play and it never changed possession (Hightower fumbled, the ball was on the ground, Breaston recovered). I am playing against Breaston in the league in which I'm commissioner. MFL has yet to credit Breaston with a TD. I don't see why he wouldn't be credited, so I plan to change it if it doesn't update itself.
ttwarrior4
if you ask me its a breaston td, not a d touchdown

CrazyOne
Yeah, generally because MFL has several rules regarding fumbles which are only tiny variations but if set differently can affect unusual situations like this. Probably the system sees this as "fumble recovery TD" or something which you wouldn't normally add as a scoring item for offense players. Check the forum on MFL; I'll bet there is (or will be) a thread on it. Whatever it is, I can't think of why Breaston shouldn't be credited with a TD in just about any fantasy league. So even if you're not set up right for automatic scoring right now, he should get a TD.
MikesVikes
In MFL, you have to award points for offensive fumble recovery for a td. It won't get scored as a rushing nor receiving td.
ts
I believe this is the "default" MFL scoring rule ... from their "strange plays" help page: Offensive Fumble Recovery TD. Scenario: Team A has the ball and a Player A1 fumbles the ball. A teammate, Player A2, recovers it and runs it in for a TD. Result: Player A2 is awarded an ‘Offensive Fumble Recovery TD’ for the distance from the recovery to the end zone.
