Ursa Majoris
Until Jerry Kramer gets inducted the Hall has no validity to me. Likewise Jim Marshall for me.
Ditkaless Wonders
Likewise Jim Marshall for me. I had much respect for Grant's Vikings. Page Marshall, Larsen and Eller were an awesome front.
polksalet
There is no hall of fame without Bettis. He was 10 times the back Martin was.
coordi88
dawson is about the only o-line guy in the entire NFL whos name i knew from before ~1.5 years ago that should speak to his talent
coordi88
There is no hall of fame without Bettis. He was 10 times the back Martin was. Bettis was an image. Although I think he ends up in the hall, "10 times the back Martin was" is just ignorance. martin was a better back in all important stats with less years and worse teams. Bettis got his start i think the year after the cowher dynasty had begun, and got to run behind dawson for basically his whole career. martin is top 5 in attempts and yard, top 10 for yards from scrimage and touchdowns and im pretty sure he was an ironman as well
godtomsatan
There is no hall of fame without Bettis. He was 10 times the back Martin was. Literally, he was probably 1.3x the size of Martin. RB-wise? I kind of thought Bettis had the benefit of a great offensive line. A good RB, not a great one. He was a part-time player for 1/3 of his career. A workhorse for the other 2/3 for sure. Not a HOFer in my book.
