Chloroform Rx
There's gonna be some pissed off people who picked up Asiata last week but put him in their waiver claims (drops) and then went to bed. Pays to live on the west coast.. Blessing in disguise? Maybe they should be looking at Jerick McKinnon.
Scorcher
Blessing in disguise? Maybe they should be looking at Jerick McKinnon. Was wondering about that because McKinnon is considered a three down back, but Asiata got his TD on a pass play. Didn't see the game so don't know if Asiata was used as an every down player. Shorttynaz
Was wondering about that because McKinnon is considered a three down back, but Asiata got his TD on a pass play. Didn't see the game so don't know if Asiata was used as an every down player. McKinnon got 2 carries, and caught 2 passes (targeted 3 times) against the Patriots. Sounds to me like Asiata "was" used as an every down back and Jerrick was just in there to give him a breather. I didn't see the game though.. Chloroform Rx
Asiata has been the every down back in place of AP. However, it's pretty apparent that he isn't very good.
CowboysDiehard
So all I have to do is somehow get my opponent's stud player on the phone and ask him "Have you stopped beating your wife?"
Alphashado
putting my fantasy football hat on. I have peterson in my keeper league, my dynasty league and a couple redraft ones. What do i do with him? Usually a team of lawyers will postpone and put off the legal process as long as possible in order to try and drag things out until the off season. In this case, AP's lawyer will do everything in his power to speed up the process because it looks like the Vikings may reinstate him depending on the outcome. His initial court date which is likely a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct 8th. AP may very well enter in a plea and come out of it with a fine and some probation. My advice would be to hold on to him for a few weeks and see how things play out. Look at it this way. If AP ends up playing this year and someone else grabbed him off waivers because you released him, you will never forgive yourself. Hold on to him for a month or so and evaluate the situation at that time. That is my advice.
Cowboyz1
I hope the torch and pitchfork mob mentality feeding frenzy Reality TV loving society we live in is happy now. What a joke. Do we hold rockstars or movie stars or any other form of evertainment to some kind of morale standard before we throw money at them? This makes me embarressed to be a citizen of this country. What a freakin joke. Good thing Budweiser had stern comments about it. It's not like most fathers that beat their kids didn't get juiced up with a 6 pack of Bud first. And Budweiser forced Brazil to overturn it;s law against drinking beer in the stands because there was to much violence and poor behavior. OHH but because Budweiser was a sponsor of the event they nixed the law. In other words, I know you passed the law to protect people from belligerent drunks in the stands and random violence but since we are Budwieser we can put them at risk for one event. POS have no moral ground what so ever to make any comment.
