buddahj
So I've been running a local league going on our 16th year. We've been using MFL for the past 7-8 years. Most of the league wants to change to a "free" site because they don't think we need all the bells & whistles that MFL offers. My other local uses ESPN and it's okay. I'm really only familiar with Yahoo & ESPN. What's your guys' opinions on the best "free" site? TIA
loaf
I like Yahoo! It doesn't offer all the customization from MFL and I can't carry over some points categories. But it allows for more than ESPN
HowboutthemCowboys
I like Yahoo! Same. Both locals in yahoo
boltnlava
Some MFL leagues I'm in make it wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better to be an owner in. We have an owner who shaped our league page into a masterpiece and after trying other leagues I find it hard on the eyes and not as enjoyable....Just an fyi. I'm in one now like that actually.Doesn't make it any easier to use. MFL sucks imo
darin3
I do all non-dynasties on Yahoo. Works fine.
Lukester2181
Yahoo is great, up until they updated their fantasy app (no message boards available), but if that isn't important to you, then I would go with Yahoo.
HowboutthemCowboys
If I open last yrs league on yahoos app it shows a chat under messenger in the bottom right corner
Zooty
My locals use ESPN and Yahoo. Both are fine for redrafts but I prefer Yahoo between the
ImNotSoIgnorant
I generally like ESPN. Tried 4 or 5 others. Its easy to use/navigate/etc. The online draft, though, using keepers never seemed to work properly for us so we abandoned it after trying it two years in a row. Not able to put where keepers go is annoying and people not paying enough attention so the draft screws up and we have to start over. NFL's live draft using keepers works very well, but the rest is kinda meh for checking out news/recommendations/etc.
Shorttynaz
ESPN - I just moved my two yearly re-drafts last year from yahoo.. So much better

On ESPN, I constantly have to log-in again (blows out my saved sign-in for some reason) and I find the sort and search features when looking for FAs to be clunky compared to Yahoo. Not to mention the app was better on Yahoo. I haven't used the new one which I heard was bad but I generally hate doing my fantasy footballing on apps anyway. Shorttynaz
The new YAHOO app is terrible. I really found ESPNs to be very easy to use. I never had to keep logging in - yahoo I do every 2 days (I play fantasy baseball). I can't wait to get this POS app off my phone tho. I have the same issue having to log-in constantly on Yahoo and never have a problem at ESPN. Just find the yahoo website is slow and then when I press a link to check stuff it invariably takes me to the wrong place. ESPN just annoys me less.
