1fastdoc
With Moncrief out and his potential sore shoulder I'm starting to wonder about his value. I tried to trade for Rodgers after week 1 and the dude said no way. I can see why. I have Mariota as my back up and clearly that's not going to work. In another league I have Bortles and it looks like he's my starting QB until IND get's their stuff together or I get a good trade for him. pun
i think it's a little early to make any long term judgments. sure, you might value him a little less without moncrief, but that's only like 4 weeks. the shoulder doesn't sound like a big issue per roto but i don't follow luck that closely. coming into the year, the only QBs i really saw as almost sure bets to be top 10 scorers were cam, brees, and brady (points per game for brady). i could see any other QB falling into 11-15 or lower. and the next tier to me was rodgers, luck, wilson. other than wilson because of his injury, that hasn't changed for me. also i think mariota will turn it around. it's only really been one bad game. i'd think the titans will start throwing the ball down field more often if they want to win games. 1fastdoc
I'm a Mariota fan but I doubt it. The line can't protect him to allow him the time for long balls. The Titans continue to develop a short pass and rushing offense, which is a shame because, well, it's boring. At the onset of the season, with Murray and Henry as threats in the back, I was hoping we'd see some brilliance from Sharpe and Matthews. So far, not so much. Once he's back I think Walker will still get the lion's share of receptions. Sadly, I really don't feel comfortable playing either of those two and I may pick up Winston. At least in my other league I have Bortles, the king of 4th quarter points.
michaelredd9
I don't normally support players meddling in their organization's decisions. But Luck needs to set Irsay straight. Probably no coach or general manager is less deserving of his job in the NFL than Ryan Grigson. Of the 22 players drafted drom 2012-2014, only 7 remain with the Colts. The only explanation is that Jim Irsay actually made those draft picks and Grigson is just a patsy.
Shorttynaz
Grigson is garbage. Dudes tryin to build a fantasy football team
stevegrab
Problem is the Colts are not a horrible team, so there's less chance a GM gets fired. Even if there were 2-4 win team for a couple years Irsay may be too brain dead to make the right decision.
Rekroot
Sometimes it's best not to make any major decisions. Prior to new contracts for Luck and T.Y, firing either Grigson, Pagano, or both and hiring new management would have caused insecurity within the organization and players as well. I think it was wise for Irsay to keep things status quo and allow things to play out over a longer period of time. Firing Pagano or Grigson would have split the locker room as well. Personally I think Irsay, Grigson, and Pagano have showed a lot of class.
