  1. +1 plus Burresses injury seals the deal for me.
  2. May want to do what I plan on doing for most of the year and that is flip a coin. But for the first week I would go with who you picked first unless there is an injury that may affect your player. I'm thinking Calvin Johnson then Bernard Berrian for you.
  3. Let's just say I wouldn't dream of benching Carson Palmer so I don't think you should becnh Ocho Cinco.
  4. Depends on how much risk you like to take. I personally am risk averse so would take SA. But IMO Westbrook has the higher ceiling.
  5. That is just stupid. In that play it was obviously horrid tackling by the Niners moreso than Henry's running ability. A whole lotta NFL RBs could make that run.
  6. In my league we choose our draft position with you guessed it a draft! I have the fifth pick in a 12 team league with pretty standard rules and such. Just wondering what people's thoughts were on what draft positions were the most desirable and least desirable. In the past it seemed like the top picks were the first to go. This year so far we had the first team choose and he chose the first pick (no surprise there). What should I target when y choice comes around. Thanks for your help in advance!
  7. Yes, yes, yes, but only a WC spot next year? Anything can happen! Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they make the playoffs THIS year. Unlikely I know but would not be surprised. Oh and how about not having T.O. That alone makes me ecstatic.
  8. Ok, I'm out of the closet and am excited at the prospects of the niners right now. I think we found our coach, QB, RB, and OL for the future. Now we just need to keep on adding more pieces to the puzzle. I would not be surprised with 8 wins this year. Have faith!
  9. Would you care if I gave a rats ass about our Veterans and believe that all special treatment (even though it's not a lot) that they get should be stripped? Maybe you don't but I know many other Veterans that do. All I'm saying is that people do care about things that do not directly affect them. Mainly because most people ask themselves ,"What if I was in that position?" 9/11 was a shining example of that. And yes the media does tend to overhype things but don't let that cloud your judgment and take away the signifigance of this game. The media will always overhype things but some of those things actually are as meaningful and important as they say.
  10. I'm guessing you do not give to charity and it's pretty much only about you. Who cares about others? Luckily most of this country is unlike you. People do care about others and see the importance of this game outside of just football.
  11. I am looking forward to seeing a rockin crowd on Monday night and hopefully a Saints win. The place better be jumping.
  12. For me this is the one and only game this year that I would not miss for the world. The Saints are my second favorite team this year aside from my Niners. I will not even start Mike Vick this week because of this game. It helps that I also have Eli Manning. GO SAINTS!
