  1. PPR league (1pt/rec.), 6pt/td, 1pt/10 rec yds. I start 3 WR's, my other starters are Roy Williams and Braylon Edwards. Marshall will be the #1 against a suspect SD secondary. Evans will be the #1 for an amped up Buffalo team on their first Monday night in 13 years. Plus Dallas's secondary can be scored upon and starting CB Anthony Henry is out. Who do I start?
  2. Anyone know how serious Rudi's injury is? Is he definitely returning after the bye or is this more serious? I'm trying to figure out if Kenny Watson is worth holdng on to, or if he's a one week fill-in.
  3. I have yet to see a Denver game this year, so I can't tell if this kid is for real or has just had 3 lucky games. I can only go by what I read, and that is that Marshall is a "Baby T.O." - tall, physical receiver with good hands, etc. Is any of this true, and can he keep thriving in what has typically been a run heavy offense? Any insight would be appreciated.
  4. I'm with you, can't stand the guy. You can tell he's full of himself. I grab the remote as soon as I see or hear him.
  5. 1. Offensive MVP - Peyton Manning 2. Offensive Rookie of the Year - Adrian Peterson 3. Most passing touchdowns - Peyton Manning 4. Most rushing touchdowns - Joseph Addai 5. Most receiving touchdowns - Chad Johnson 6. Most passing yards - Peyton Manning 7. Most rushing yards - Frank Gore 8. Most receiving yards - Steve Smith 9. Most points kicking (FG + XP) - Olindo Mare 10. Defense with the most sacks recorded - Jacksonville Jaguars 11. Defense with the most turnover recoveries - Baltimore Ravens 12. Special teams with the most return touchdowns - Chicago Bears 13. Rookie with the most rushing yards - Marshawn Lynch 14. Rookie with the most recieving yards - Calvin Johnson 15. Rookie with the most rushing touchdowns - Adrian Peterson 16. Longest field goal (in yards) - 58 17. Headcoach first fired/quit in disgust - Herm Edwards 18. AFC Champion - New England Patriots 19. NFC Champion - New Orleans Saints 20. Superbowl winner - New England Patriots Tiebreaker - 98
  6. No, the post is about who to take in the second round. I don't want to take a WR in the second round b/c I don't like what's left at RB with my late 3rd round pick. So I feel my choices are McGahee, Brown, or MJD in the second round. Of course I will take a higher rated RB if he falls to me in the second round (Henry, etc), but that doesn't help me if a higher rated RB is not there. If you value Brown over the other two, then I respect that and I thank you for replying. I'm not sold on Brown b/c of the terrible offense and O line, but that's just me. I posted here to get other opinions besides mine though, so again, thank you.
  7. Seems like you guys like Brown despite the terrible O line and offense. No one choosing McGahee or MJD here? I know the arguments against MJD, but it is PPR.
  8. Picking 10th in 12 team league. 1 pt / reception, 6 pt / all TDs. Start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, D. I will be taking an RB in first round, and am pretty sure 2 of these 3 will be there with my 2nd round pick. Who would you take and why? Also, if Peyton is available, would you take him over any of these?
  9. Green Jordan T. Bell J. Jones C. Taylor W. Dunn When in doubt, grab the guys who have the job to themselves. Green should get the majority of time in Houston. Jordan and Bell have their jobs until injured backs (Rhodes and K. Jones) return. Bottom three will be in a committee and will have less value.
  10. Bush and Maroney for sure. Only one to consider before Maroney is Henry. They both have injury concerns, so in this case, go with the younger guy with less mileage on him.
  11. MJD, Jacobs, then Lynch. Lynch might be the #1, but he's a rookie in a so so offense. In PPR, MJD could be a monster, and Jacobs will make up for lack of catches with rushing yards and TDS.
  12. I think that trade is very fair. If anything, he's probably getting an edge as T. Henry has more upside than Ronnie Brown, and Welker and Berrian are equal in my eyes. Works for me.
