  1. A .500 team that got 2 gifts at the end of last year and backed into the playoffs calling anoter team overrated? 1st team to go into MINN and get a W since 2008 - don't care if they scored 6 pts for the win. I think the Wildcat does some damage this week with the Jets missing 3 of their best defensive players - Jenkins, Pace & Revis. Remember these 2 names this weekend Jets fans - Cameron Wake & Koa Misi - I guarantee you Sanchez will remember them after this game. Dolphins 24 Jets 13
  2. 2 of my favorites from this year . . . Rex Ryan's Lap Band Touched by an Uncle
  3. Definitely filled a position of need with this link
  4. Pretty much agree on all of them. Pat White is a twig and a waste of a pick IMO. Hoping Davis/Smith can turn into Madison/Surtain. I'd also like to see Clemmons take over for Gibril next year. I think Bess is our new Welker - but Hartline has come along nicely. It will be interesting to see what a true #1 WR (FA or draft) can do for Henne next year.
  5. First and foremost it's Tony Sparano. Can we at least get the man's name right? Dave Wannstadt & Nick Saban coached this team before him. Since taking over a 1-15 team Tony Sparano has gone 16-10. He's overseen a total rebuild. Done a great job at building & getting younger on both the offensive & defensive lines. I personally have not seen a Dolphin team as physical as this since the early 1970's. Week in and week out everyone in the building knows they're going to run the ball and yet they do it any way - successfully. He took over a disaster of a team - and while going through a complete rebuild he has kept the team competitive - AFC East champs last year and in the hunt this year. I have yet to find one Dolphin fan not happy with what Tony Sparano has done for this team.
  6. He said in his post game interview that his kicking team was decimated by injuries and he didn't want to risk a kick with a bunch of new guys who haven't played those positions before.
  7. RIP Wildcat IMO they'll go to a more traditional type of offense. Pound Ricky and ask Henne to do more. Pat White at 190 lbs is not running between the tackles and his throws have been erratic.
  8. Fixed Wannstache set ths team back 5 years - they just started coming out of it last year. Let's not forget that Wannstadt treated Ricky like a rented mule. At the time he had the most rushing attempts for an NFL back over a 2 year period in the history of the NFL. A BIG reason (along with others) that Ricky bolted. As a Dolphin fan, I forgave him a long time ago. A pleasure to watch at his age. SO glad they signed him to an extension that will keep him a Dolphin through the 2010 season. He's quite happy right now being a 1A to Ronnie Brown - I doubt he'd play if he was the featured back like he was in the past. He's recently gotten married and also just opened up his own restaurant on Miami beach. I read something a few weeks ago that compared Ricky to Barry Sanders. A world of talent but a player that played for a paycheck and not the love of the game. Imagine if they were motivated by both? A perfect compliment to Ronnie Brown to make up the best backfield in the NFL IMO. My favorite Ricky Williams quite . . . "Josh Gordon is 10X better for me than Paxil"
  9. "Look kids . . . . Big Ben . . . . Parliament . . ."
  10. Jake Long more than held his own his rookie season. He should be the Dolphins LT for the next 10 years. He started all 16 games - let up 2.5 sacks and was called for 5 penalties all year for a total of 40 yds. Clady's numbers are impressive as well . . . He started all 16 games - let up 0.5 sacks and was called 3 penalties all year for a total of 20 yds. The real joke comes from the Pro Bowl selection of Jason Peters of Buffalo . . . He started 13 games - let up 11.5 sacks and was called for 8 penalties all year for a total of 55 yds.
