And he's KevinL's 10 year old kid so that makes him even more fun to beat on.

I didn't realize that, but seeing that KevinL has been using me as a whipping boy, that makes it that much better.

LukeAL is good to mine. I've fought and beat him 6 times and two of those times I got uncommon items and one time I got a rare item. That's some pretty good mining.

:D Not always it would appear :D This is what I just got off him.

Mental Ball 1 Scroll

Skill:

None

Skill Level:

None

Action:

Scroll Damage (1)

Limitations:

Uses (1 turn)

Stats:

That is officially the lamest item I've gotten. 1 pt of damage good for one turn per battle. That'll leave a mark!

OK, so I did manage to pick up a Rare item, a cool Celestrium Helm. Except I already have a Rare and an Ultra Rare Helm. :D

Lol, thats weird. I seem to be getting a bunch of cool arms...

At least they'll fetch a good price when the market opens.

Another thing I've noticed farming. If you collect about 20-25 Prize tickets and then cash them in you usually get loot with about half of them.

Indeed, Luke is my kid.

Princess Of Light is my wife and she says to lay off her too. I'm gonna have to fight you a couple more times for revenge, I guess.

Oops! Sorry, but your wife seems to drop some good prizes. I got 2 Rares from her yesterday.

oops, when I saw the name I starting taking perverse joy in beating this person because of that name. You can tell her that I'll stop enjoying beating her.

Funny, I like the name Olaf the Damned but I still take joy in beating you. :D

I've noticed :D

The last couple days ive been beating level 1's but not getting anything. Im too impatient to wait for the balance. My rank is climbing fast, but the rating sucks due to the lack of items.

Welcome to my hell. This is exactly why I hate games that are primarily luck. There is always someone luckier and I cannot devise a strategy that removes luck from the equation. Because even if I wait until I have enough EP to buy something, I then have to be lucky enough to find it in the shop. Very frustrating.

Another 17 EP, another wasted 17 EP...

I've had a rather brutal stretch today but, over all, I've done well on the last 60 I've spent. Got a polished heavy crossbow which is handy 'cause I already had a pristine one. That gave me another solid weapon and allowed me to reset 25 SP that I was using for a Mace and pump up my heavy armor.

Got a very slight upgrade on leg armor with Spidersilk legs to replace tattered version of the same. However, truth be told, I could really use some light or heavy armor legs so I could ditch the mage armor SP and use it to pump up my Fire magic for the Fire Blast 17 I also got this weekend. The good part is that I already have two other fire spells (13 and 15) maxed out at 25 SP, so it's not like I have to start from scratch. I have two other 14 pt spells that I can ditch along with the 50 total SPs I have tied up in them as soon as I get more stuff like the crossbow in areas I already have SP in. That, along with getting normal leg armor, and I'll be looking good.

So, long story short, for 60 EP, I got two things that I was able to use immediately and one thing that could be useful once I can focus my stuff a bit more and free up the SPs. Not bad.

The good news today is that, while I haven't gotten much I can use, I at least have been getting lame UC stuff so I've been able to sell it back and at least almost tread water in terms of EP. Started with 42 and still have 25 (plus the upgrade in leg armor).

Which goes directly back to my comment on games based on luck.

So, I take it that you don't want to hear that I scored than Fire Ball 14 I was looking for on my latest batch of 12 EP spent?

I also got some decent leg armor but I don't think it's good enough to make up for the loss of armor and attributes I'd suffer just to free up another 15 SP to almost but not quite max out the Fireball 17.

I scored a Water Ball 14 Scroll that can't crack the starting lineup. BFD. On the bright side, I do have over 1000 victories now.

Well, the Fireball 14 allowed me to put two other 14 power spells that were each tying up 25 SP on the bench and use those to max out my Fireball 17 enough to make it worth using (It hits for 15 now). So, it was an upgrade, even if only by a little. Which, at this point, is fine.

What about this? Does this crack the starting lineup?

Mithril Great Sword

Skill:

Largesword

Skill Level:

5 / 50

Stamina Cost:

7 Points

Action:

Weapon Damage (13)

Limitations:

Delay (9 turns)

Stats:

Agi (+1), Dex (+1)

Gonna have to switch some things around, but I'm pretty sure I can make room for it.

I haven't gotten anything that is an improvement over what I already have in a few days, and I've have everything am currently using maxed out in skill points. I'm quickly losing interest in this game.
