Pitbull739 Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 I am stuck between the proverbial rock & a hard place this weekend. Bulger hurt, Delhomme bye, need to pick up a QB. Plummer appears to be the most solid QB on waivers. I watched this guy for years in the desert and have never been sold on him as an NFL QB. Please talk me out of picking him over the likes of Holcomb, McCown, Dilfer, Martin, Frerotte & Carr. Simplex3 Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 (edited) Martin is a better one week fix. McCown is better if Denny Green leaves him in. Plummer isn't getting any opportunities right now but eventually they won't put 200 yards rushing on someone and they're going to have to throw. My guess is that Plummer goes colorblind again and just starts chucking it to guys regardless of their jersey color. kicker77 Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 Especially for a short-term fix, you'd probably be better off with McCown or Holcombe for now. They're both hot and have hungry WR's. I have him in 1 league and really wish I had someone else but he does post some decent stats, at ;least more recently he has been anyway.
