Who would you go for going into the playoff run as a backup? With Jackson coming back do you think that spells doom for Jurevicius? My WRs are: S. Smith, C. Johnson, Horn, R. Floating Plasma's Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 I am trying to aquire JJ from the waiver wire this week as well and will coincidently be dropping Horn for him. Horn just doesn't have it this year coming back from the injury and Stallworth is getting more looks each week. I think JJ will hang in there for the rest of the season even with Jackson coming back, guessing like Horn, it will take a while for him to get back into the swing of things. Horn has much more potential than jurevicius. horn is still the #1 receiver on the saints. jurevicius has been nice, but if you drop horn that might come back to bite you in the butt if somebody else picks him up. is there anyone else you can drop? Wolv Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 I had JJ for awhile and dropped him last week. Naturally he blows up for a big game, but I wouldn't have started him anyway. Fact of the matter is JJ has only had 2 big games, and all the rest are rather pedestrian. With DJax coming back soon he wont be worth a long term pickup. I certainly wouldn't consider dropping Horn.
