Steelhead
cbs doesn't update that until the next day. Was wondering if because it goes forward it counts as a punt or it's still a block?
Menudo
If it goes forward, it is considered a punt.
Big John
The ball was kicked, then touched. It is a block.
Menudo
The ball was kicked, then touched. It is a block. 1225084[/snapback] It depends. If it goes forward, it does not count as a block. The reason I know this is that the Steelers punter, Chris Gardocki has a record for never having a punt blocked. In a game earlier this year, he had a punt blocked, but his record stayed in tact, because the ball went forward and ended up as like a 6 yard punt, and Gardocki's record for not having a punt blocked remained. Steelhead
I was askign cause I needed the pts, but I hung onto the win. I thought if it went forward it was a punt. Gardocki is sweet punter, unfortunately most of his career was with the lowly Browns. Go Steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rocknrobn26
I got burned on that one early in the season. If the ball goes forward, NO BLOCK!

Skippy
No block. I have seen this many times in the past and if the ball goes forward it will not count as a block.
