Bauditalk
I have both LT and Davis but did you see the lost puppy look on LT's face last week?? He was hitting the line like, "please don't hit me"... ...and, why would Davis risk a career ending injury?? So, I ask, Wells or Turner?? Many thanks!! Wolv
If DD sits, then Wells is a given. I expect LT to play this week. But just keep an eye on the situation to see any more info. Regardless, if LT is gonna play, I'd have a hard time sitting him for Turner....

Bauditalk
You think Turner is a better play than Wells??
Wolv
IF DD and LT sit, Turner is certainly a better option than Wells. BUT I don't see LT sitting this week, and can't condone starting Turner over LT if LT plays.

Bauditalk
Let us look ahead though... It would seem that Wells would be the better play against SFO, which is my SB. Thoughts?
Bauditalk
Does anyone know if SD can afford to lose this game? They have one up on KC... If they have tied records, who wins??

Blitzburgh
I have the same problem. I have D Davis and LT, with Moats and Wells as backups. I'm actually thinking of sitting LT and going with my backup Moats. Then using Davis or Wells whoever starts. LT just has not been himself the last few weeks. IS Moats a safer option than gambling on LT???
maulers
It's tough to sit LT. I have him and will start him because I don't really have any other options. Remember what Tiki did to KC's run defense last week. Maybe LT will do better against KC instead of Indy.
devilwoman
I would never sit LT. He is your stud, he is a tough dude and he wants to win more than anyone. He will play with the pain. Never ever sit LT, because when you do he'll have a break out game you will hate yourself for it. If LT faulters, at least you played the guy who got you to where you are. He is a warrior do not sit him...this is what he lives for. Ok enough said. Good luck!! Edited December 20, 2005 by devilwoman
Bauditalk
Thank you for your input, however, I disagree. Ever since LT's rib injury (three weeks now), LT just has not been himself. I watch every game and he does not have his head up looking to break out like he always does. Instead, he just makes a lackluster dive. I agree that he is a warrior but he is in pain... Case in point, did you see the 2nd and 3rd and goal efforts he made against the Colts?? Same thing happened the game prior. ...and, when it counted most, the final drive to put the Colts out, he sat!! I say he will not be his stud self until next year. Thanks for the discussion.
