A Little Bit Special
AFC teams 33 NFC teams 31 1258307 That's actually a lot better than I would have thought considering how much stronger the AFC appears to be from top to bottom. Big John
That's actually a lot better than I would have thought considering how much stronger the AFC appears to be from top to bottom. 1258327 In compiling this, I saw only CIN and PIT going 4-0 against the NFC, with BUF going 0-4. Another factor was that 2 of the last 3 IND games were agasinst NFC teams.
charty
I came up with 34-30 AFC. ESPN Conference Split

CowboysDiehard
I was surprised to see that the Skins were 0-4 vs the AFC this year, and 10-2 vs the NFC.
Big John
It's ok BJ. We'll let you slide this one time. 1258353 I double-checked what I did with nfl.com with the AFC team schedules and came up with what I had before, so there must be an error on their part on one of those teams. pseudolefty
I was surprised to see that the Skins were 0-4 vs the AFC this year, and 10-2 vs the NFC. 1258362 That's because they lost 4 close games (all within 7 pts) to teams in the AFC West. I think the AFC West and NFC East were the toughest and most competitive divisions this year, top-to-bottom. Both divisions had 3 teams with records over .500. Of course, things like this change on a yearly basis, but I think these two divisions will again be strong next year.
