xlence
Looks like Mt. Augustine in Alaska erupted this morning in Devilwomans neck of the woods. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/A/AK_...AI&SECTION=HOME http://www.avo.alaska.edu/activity/Augustine.php
I Like Soup
I expect at any moment to hear the Bush bashers begin to blame America for not adhering to the Kyoto Accord and look what happens...we spew forth pollution in to the air. But seriously, there seems to be more and more seismic activity in the PacRim...is California gonna be able to hang on?
devilwoman
MT. Augustine has blew her stack. So far the plume is around the Kenai and Homer area. I was headed to the Arctic Slope for work when it went off. They apparently closed the Kenai Airport the last flight after mine. No other reports so far as to the ash amounts yet. Dang and I just cleaned my hot tub

It's quiet and lots of outdoor activities if you so desire. I love to fish and hike so it is my paradise, along with my home. It's not The most beautiful place in Alaska to live but I love it.
