tonorator
There has been a development in this trade offer. He recinded the original deal and now wants Peyton in the mix, plus he will throw in Brees. This changes everything drastically. Now with the retirement of Roaf from KC, the running game might not be as phenominal as everyone thinks. Unfortunate or not, I think I'm going to stay put, and keep what I got. Let know what you guys think about these new developments.....Peyton and Brees in the mix, and now Roaf retiring.... Thanks dudes... if anything, you should be squeezing more out of him now that roaf has gone down.
heehawks
if anything, you should be squeezing more out of him now that roaf has gone down. I agree, I'm going to try and get what he originally offered....but then again, I may just stay put now. Ug tough decisions ahead!
Shorttynaz
I think you're better off with the team you currently have. Brown will eb a workhorse in Maimi, but LJ has a little more upside, so I say LJ has a +1 there, but Drew Bennet for A. Boldin?? I say that Boldin is probably +3 here. You'd be getting a back with more scoring potential, but now with Roaf pondering retirement, LJ is going to fall.. DONT DO IT!!! You'd be getting bent!! Hardrocker
Original deal, I would take. If he wants P Manning....I'c have to close the door. Agree with many who have posted here that you could survive the hit at WR and come out fine. Good luck Hardrocker
heehawks
Well its official, I squashed the deal. I'm going to stick with my drafted team, and let the chips fall where they may. Thanks dudes for all the advice. Good luck this year!
Ponce
Wow, so far I've got about a 50/50 split on this deal. And yes its Peyton, not Eli on my team. I am just thinking about playoffs, and Manning having 3 tds, and LJ having 3 tds, and me winning the league. But, to tell you the truth, I'm still not sure I want to devestate my lineup for superman....thanks for the advice so far, anymore advice will surely be appreciated. Receivers are a dime a dozen, granted most of them are not the caliber of Boldin. The difference in scoring assuming relatively the same numbers for everyone, I believe it is relatively clear to take the trade and ride LJ all year. Drew Bennett is Voleks fav target and if V. Young does play he is a big target (always a plus for a young QB with a strong arm - no pun intended)
