Doc Holliday
I would keep Chambers myself.
cheezhed
I would keep Chambers myself. Yep, Chambers could be sic this year with Cpep. Although you QB situation is kinda scary at the moment (but very nice upside). According to your lineup, you can only start 1 RB?????? If that's so, maybe try to move one of them for a starting QB. SpinalTapp
I understand your need to upgrade at QB. However, Chambers for Warner (not a lock to be a top 10 QB) and a 5th rounder in 2007 is WAY to high a price to pay. I get the feeling this guy is the first owner to offer you a deal. If I were you, I would be sending out offers to other owners. I would be targeting an owner with a solid backup QB that would be an upgrade or weekly matchup compliment over what you got (perhaps Favre, Brooks, Bledsoe, Plummer, Delhomme, etc) and I would offer them Branch or Roy. Take my advice or hold Chambers until someone throws in a stud QB.
rcswildcat
Maybe im against the consensus, but i think i would consider the deal. chambers is always overrated IMO, and the combo of warner/leinart could score you big all year long. everyone seems to bash warner, but then these same people pick fitz and boldin both in the 2nd. someone has to get them the ball. tonorator
looks like plenty of FA options that will give you a starting QB and allow you to keep chambers. you are not that deep at WR, so i would not be looking to trade that spot. i would think williams or bush might draw some interest and you could let one of them go for a better QB since you are set with sjax and caddy there.
