Whiskeyrichards
Been reading a lot of articles, and a lot of opinions on rankings and I am as confused as I have ever been on selecting a player. I would like people's opinion on who you think is the best #5 pick. I already know the top 4-LJ, LT, SA, and Clinton. I am trying to debate over Tiki, Edge, Ronnie, or Steven Jackson. In the second round, I am trying to determine if Willis McGahee is there, do I select him or a top tier WR? In the third round, if I go with WR, what second or third tier running back should I be aiming for? Sorry for the rambling post, just have a lot of uncertainty with this draft. Scooby
I like Stv. Jackson, if you have to pick RB. I think Ronnie Brown might be overrated. You might be able to get him or Edge on the way back.
Sportsfan26
I think you are going to get a high quality player. I like in this order TIKI, JACKSON and then EDGE You should have a nice second rounder on the way back.
Bonedaddies
I think it is a toss-up between Tiki and Edge. Tiki is on a well rounded team and should have another solid year, Edge has an improved Off line, great WR's and well......Kurt Warner....2 out of 3 isn't bad. Golden Boy will be waiting in the wings to take over, WOW I just thought of something, Leinart is finally going to know what losing feels like!! I have Edge rated #5, I go with him. As far as your next pick I would go RB again and then get the best WR with your number 3!! The difference in taking a RB vs. a WR with your second pick is (8) selections, if 5 of those are RB's by the time your third round pick comes back you will be scrambling. However, if you go RB and 4 WR go in those same 8 picks, you go from Torry Holt to a Boldin/Ward/Chambers...much less than going from McGahee to A.Green/J.Jones/Etc. Take the Back!!!!
