Keeper trade - Stephen Jackson/Edge straight up

I would do that immediately. Jackson so much younger and put up good numbers last year. Also, has new coach coming in who most say will look to run b4 pass. Jackson will not have Faulk to worry about this year and catching more balls out of backfield.

Edge on the other hand- don't know what we're getting with Cards. offense, especially blocking from O-Line a big concern. Plus, he's 30 next year and his best days are behind in Indy. Make the deal.

My only hesitation is that I also have a deal in the works whereby I send Edge and my extra 10th round draft pick to a team for Shaun Alexander.

I think I like that deal better but I can see the benefit of the Stephen Jackson trade too.

Which would you rather have?

I have Edge and have been offered Stephen Jackson straight up. Would you take that deal?

Keeper League - traditional performance scoring. This is a pre-draft trade.

Make the trade ASAP.

Steven Jackson is 23 and IMO a future Hall of Famer. Make the trade now before they have time to reject it. Shaun Alexander is an amazing player who should most likely put up great numbers for the next couple of years, but there is a huge downside to him. Okay, I even have him on my team, but have to admit that based on past knowledge for players that have a career or 'peak' year, they typically only have one place to go: down, and sooner than later. I have a feeling Alexander has some years left given his durability, but Steven Jackson has the next 10+ years; however, the greatest part about this future Hall of Famer is that he hasn't even been close to peaking yet.
