While not a true indicator of the advisor/poster's knowledge, it gave everyone a little benchmark. so what is the new system? I have two blue bars and am called a Huddler. What do the bars indicate? ts Posted September 9, 2006 Share Posted September 9, 2006 The post count, member number & join date were removed on Labor Day. On Tuesday, the member number & join date were reinstated, but the post count remains deleted. Per a post from DMD in the Tailgate, these changes are expected to be permanent. As far as the "blue bars" (also known as "bricks") go, the best I can figure out is that you start out with one, get awarded a second brick after something like 5 posts, and must wait until you have 10,000 posts to get the third brick. Since Blitz (aka Grits) has 30,000+ posts and is stuck at three bricks, I can't imagine what it would take to be awarded brick number four. ts Posted September 9, 2006 Share Posted September 9, 2006 As a follow-up, FWIW, according to an informal poll posted in the Tailgate earlier this week, of the ~325 users that responded: 62% were in favor of retaining the post count 74% were in favor of retaining the join date 68% were in favor of retaining the member number Opinions on retaining the Location indicator were not solicited in the poll.
