Big Dogs
Ok, from my topic title, you can guess I have the orignal starting RB for Denver -- Mike Bell..... But since Shanahan is the devil and hates fantasy footballers like ourselves I'm now left with a choice. Edge is my #1 RB, for #2 I get to choose between: - Mike Bell at St. Louis (but will admittedly be splitting time with the other sidekick Bell) - Dominick Rhodes at NY Giants (tough defense, and ???? about Indy's running game), or - Ladell Betts at Minnesota (slight chance that Portis may play, and Duckett may get vulture some TD's) Regular performance scoring league
Ditka Doom
My order: Bell, Betts, and Rhodes (two headed monster).
Go Skins
Since all are iffy, just stick w/ Mike Bell. He'll still be worth something, even w/ Tatum. He'll be this year's Mike Anderson, (or so I mightily hope...)
rattsass
I agree, you have to go with Bell. If he goes off against that soft Rams defense and he is sitting on your bench, you will hate yourself. Almost as much as you will hate yourself if Shanny puts him in mothballs for the whole game. Nah, he wouldn't do that.
soco
this is why i never draft a back from denver... but bell will be a good start
Big Dogs
this is why i never draft a back from denver... but bell will be a good start I tell myself that same thing every year, then, I got greedy in the 3rd and took Gates, strategizing and thinking the next 6 picks wouldn't be RB's because the three teams behind me all went RB RB in the first two rounds....., and I would have had a choice b/t Jamal Lewis, Dunn, and Gore, but nooooo.......All three of those teams went RB, RB, RB with their first three picks. Bell was the best option left on the board, so I didn't think I had the choice..... Thanks for the opionions!!
darth8ball
this is why i never draft a back from denver... but bell will be a good start until they leave Denver. T. Bell is kinda in the dog house and it doesn't take much for Shanahan to wig out and bench a player. Mike Bell should be fine. GOOD LUCK
