jimsoxfan
Someone has offered me Maroney for McGhee and if Dillon is out I am taking it. Otherwise I can't....has anyone up in NE heard anything?
MrTed46
Goodluck finding out any info before gametime. Bellichek is no joke when it comes to disclosing injuries
jimsoxfan
I know...I have always stayed away from New England players even being a fan because of this but I love that kid. And we have a keeper league and I think he will be a stud in NE for a long time (well at least until his rookie contract is up and he holds out and gets traded away ). MrTed46
I do like Maroney ALOT. I think he will replace Dillon sometimes this year as starter and even get more carries in the RBBC approach. The way Dillon is running he will be out for the season soon. He tried to run over defenders by charging them (not saying its a bad thing but hes not the youngest guy). jimsoxfan
I noticed that in the first two games. He is really running hard, but he is old. I don't think he even makes cuts any more...just throws out the straight arm and tries to drive through defenders!
msaint
from all i hear up here, dillon looks good to go. or good to split carries with LM, at least. rotoworld: Corey Dillon "looked fine" before practice Wednesday. He doesn't appear to be at any risk of missing playing time. Dillon should split carries with Laurence Maroney once again this week versus Denver. Menudo
I've got both Maroney and Dillon and need to start one of them. I'm going to go with Maroney this week, because, at the very least, Dillon is banged up a bit.

Finger
Dillon was not put on the injury report. He has practiced all week, take that for what it's worth.
Cosmo-J
I noticed that in the first two games. He is really running hard, but he is old. I don't think he even makes cuts any more...just throws out the straight arm and tries to drive through defenders! That he does... I had Dillon (just traded him away) and both games I've watched I fear he's not going to get up every time he's tackled. This is a fear only a Mother or a Fantasy Football owner can understand. He's barrelling down everything in his path like a downhill runaway dump-truck - and that's great, but in doing so with that old body it's only a matter of time before he gets hurt. Maroney owners have to be psyched... Edited September 21, 2006 by Cosmo-J
NAUgrad
Dillon was not put on the injury report. He has practiced all week, take that for what it's worth. He's faking it for a new contract!
