Chief Dick
Weather is getting cold here and we are anticipating a hard freeze sometime in the next couple of nights. I brought in all my tropical plants for the winter, and it seems every year I have problems with dropped leaves for awhile as they acclimate to the different conditions. Anyone have any tips to help minimize the shock the plants get when moved from outdoors to indoors? They all get good light, so that shouldn't be a problem. cre8tiff
We have staged our plants in the garage before bringing them in, but they always drop leaves.

I can't really do that unfortunately because my garage is a detached garage and still gets pretty cold.

Maybe bring them in and don't turn on your furnace. You have sweaters, right?
