Swampman
I am stumped on who to start this week. I need to start 6 of these players. One point for reception from TE's and .5 point for RB's and WR's. 1 pt for every 20 yrds rushing and 1 pt for every 25 yrds receiving. TD's are the same scoring for both. Your help is greatly appreciated. RB's Tiki @ Washington C. Taylor vs St. Louis Pittman vs Seattle Turner vs Arizona WR's S. Smith @ New Orleans Hackett @ Tampa Bay Henderson vs Carolina TE's Gates vs Arizona Heap vs Buffalo It's tough because I don't know how long LT will play so Turner might get most of the workload. Smith has been horrible the last few weeks with Weinke at QB but Delhomme should be back this week. I am thinking of starting these 6: Tiki, Chester, Turner, Smith, Gates & Heap. I am on the fence with Pittman too because Cadillac is out. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated and I will help with yours too. Thanks

JetFanMike
I think the first five (Tiki, Chester, Pittman, S. Smith, and Gates) are pretty much no-brainers. It's worth mentioning that Gates may not play the whole game; on the other hand if LT sits that gives somebody else a chance at some TD's. For the last one, I'm not sure if I'd use Hackett. Even though DJax (not SJax) is out, he still has to compete with Deion Branch and Bobby Engram and Nate Burleson for the ball. And Matt Hasselbeck may only play a little bit against a pretty decent TB pass defense. Henderson could be a sneaky play, since they'll probably rest Colston, which COULD actually help Devery. But with Brees out I don't think I'd risk it. And I wouldn't use Heap because Buffalo's rush defense is so weak I expect the Ravens to use Jamal Lewis for all their yardage. I think I'd actually gamble and use Turner in the 6th spot. It obviously IS a gamble, but he's got a big upside if LT comes out early. Please see mine at http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=193351 and http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=193345
