Since the Bears have big $$ Benson and Peterson, that rumor is not far fetched IMHO. I read an article(can't remember where) about a Benson to Denver trade being worked on for the offseason. Saying they would rather keep Jones and Peterson and trade Benson, they also said that they could handle the salary cap hit, don't know how true that is. Completely different style runners. in fact Benson isn't that much of a different runner than Mike. in any event, imo Mike deserves another look as the starter. he had some down games but finished the season on some very positive notes... couple TDs and a nice ypc average. if Shanny didn't continue with that idiotic RBBC, Mike probably would've shown more consistency.
