Avernus
If the Texans are seriously considering this trade or have given it more than a split second thought... I would assume one thing is clear... they obviously want to top last years #1 screw-up....it's hard to do since you're at the 5 slot.. but I think this trade would make for a worse deal than not taking Bush.. Azazello1313
The Texans are interested in Plummer. Whether through trade or release, Plummer is likely to end up back with Kubiak. There is talk the Broncos and the Texans will discuss a trade that would send Plummer (Tatum) Bell, and an early-round draft pick to Houston for the No. 8 pick overall pick and perhaps a player. if it was denver's first round pick coming back there, maybe that trade makes a little sense. but there's no way the texans give up top 10 overall pick value for two guys who each have a legitimate shot at being cut outright, that is just patently absurd. The Texans have made worse decisions in the past. I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit, however, it will be absurd.
Vet
not a freakin' chance. there is no way two bad players get traded for any first round pick, let alone one that high. correct

Not talking about this trade in particular, but one reason to make a trade for a guy that might be cut is he is yours. Gurantees that you get him but if he gets cut you might have some competitors for them.

Agreed. Plummer was never that great to begin with and now he pretty much just sucks. Tatum Bell is a glorified third-down back.
Wizards
One element that is entertaining is that Carr sucks worse than Plummer. If such a trade was in the works...I agree that combined they equal Houston's 2nd pick......and possibly a player......no way first round....I think Texans could get Warner and draft a QB in the 4th or 5th round...send Vick to Houston..he likes to scramble and the "O" line there will give him plenty of opportunity!!
