Bronco Billy
Holy crap. A good rule of thumb in FF is that for every year that a draft pick is out, you drop its value by about 1 round. Would you trade Henry for a 3rd, 4th, & 5th rounder this year? Henry has 2 good years left at least and is locked into the starting gig in one of the best running teams in the league. You've got Jacobs, Maroney, & McAllister behind him - that's great RB depth, even though you don't have an uber-stud. Then you've got the 1.03 this year, which ought to be your choice of Lynch starting in BUF or B Jackson starting in GB, unless someone pulls a real boner & lets CJ drop to you, in which case you jump on him like a duck on a june bug. That trade sucks for you - seriously.

Timmypg
I never trade beyond 1 year unless my team is in total shambles. Who knows what will happen in two years.
Zooty
Agreed, I wouldn't take it either Edited May 2, 2007 by Zooty
ROYALWITCHEESE
I can't believe you league even allows trading that far into the future. Heck I'd be trading away my 2009 picks too if I could. My league only allows trading the next years picks after the NFL draft...

kpholmes
thanks for the good advice, I guess I am trying to look way to into the future. Agreed with what is said. It's easy to want to build for the future, but don't cost yourself the next few seasons' worth of wins for the potential to do well later.
