bushwacked
Anyone else catch this flick? Link Saw it last week on HBO and/or Showtime. One of the more interesting films I've seen in the last year or so. Teenage angst mixed w/ a Goodfella's type screenplay maybe? Don't know, just found it better than 99% of the big budget movies. Chavez
First off, it's not THE Brick, it's just Brick Secondly, yeah, it's a great frickin' movie. Joseph Gordon Levitt looks like he has an early and imposing lead as far as greatest actor of his generation goes.
Riffraff
It was worthy of viewing.

AtomicCEO
If you search, you'll find Chavez and I talking about it a few times. I really enjoyed it's style, affected as it may have been.

H8tank
I was hoping for more, it wasn't 'bad', just not that memorable. Ravenous is one I really enjoyed, a little cerebral horror flick.

Chavez
Robert Carlyle is NEVER bad - not to say some of his movies aren't. RAVENOUS is good fun, though, if you approach it correctly.
JoJoTheWebToedBoy
I caught it again late the other night. Great movie
Flypaste
I just caught this movie the other night. It wasn't bad. Putting the dialect of 40's tough guy noir types into the mouths of modern teens was interesting but beyond that... it stuck pretty much to classic film noir motifs. Good movie, not great but I am interested to see what the writer/director comes up with for a fllow -up.
