seminoles
Which of the two do you choose to lock down an opposing player, assuming the opposing player matches up with them (a forward/center with ben wallace, a guard/forward with bowen). Ben has won many defensive player of the year awards, but Bruce get recognition as the best lock down defender. Have fun.
myhousekey
I can't stand Bowen but this still should be a landslide in his favor.
SheikYerbuti
If Big Ben would start putting his feet at the landing point of the shooter with intent to roll their ankles and kneeing people in the groin, he'd have a better chance of winning this poll. wildcat2334
F Bruce Bowen- dirtiest, cheapest bastid in the league. Apples and oranges, 2 entirely different defenders. if I had to pick 1- Ben, dude battles C way bigger than him, and affects the game more. Bowen is overrated as a defender IMO- the defensive philisophy, helpside D of the Spurs makes him look better.

The 31 NBA coaches (not including Pop) that have voted him 1st team all defense 6 years in a row?
Big John
Who over rates him? The 31 NBA coaches (not including Pop) that have voted him 1st team all defense 6 years in a row? There are 30 NBA teams.
KevinL
Who over rates him? The 31 NBA coaches (not including Pop) that have voted him 1st team all defense 6 years in a row? 31 must include Oklahoma City AND New Orleans.
broncosn05
There are 30 NBA teams. I love those.
wirehairman
There are 30 NBA teams. Typo . . . The 30 NBA coaches vote for the "all NBA" teams, but a coach cannot vote for his own players.
