Perchoutofwater
I pulled my little girl from our public schools last year and everyone tells me what a smart move that was to get her away from all the black kids. I reply mostly that if you think the problems are black then you really are not paying attention. I have a few pretty good friends that are black. I also have a black family that lives about five houses away that my black friends don't like. I don't think it is a racist thing. Of course you are right. My kids both go to public schools. The schools they go to are literally split, roughly 33% White, 33% Black, and 33% Hispanic. We really like the district they are in, in fact my wife teaches in the district. We can afford to send our kids to private schools, but choose not to. The big difference is that this school district is in a rural community, and not an inner city. The parents of the kids that go there are for the most part hard working farmers and ranchers, and have taught them a good work ethic and to respect other peoples property. Don't get me wrong there are some bad apples, but they are relatively few, and of no particular race.
