Dr. Love
On the website below, if you click on the sketch to the right of the text, it pulls up this fantastic animation that I would love to use for a presentation. Any idea how I can save/capture it for use? I've tried the "right-click and save" technique... which exhausts my toolkit. http://www.seed.slb.com/en/scictr/watch/mud/cycle.htm
The Holy Roller
Can't help with your question but I find the animation erotic. In an engineering sorta way.
The Vatican Hitsquad
try a program like "snapz" to record it, then import that Quicktime into flash... or pump th eURL into sitesucker and grab it from there.
AtomicCEO
Break it down for me now. Uh... uh... This is the code for the clickable link on the page <a href="java script:function..." onClick="MM_openBrWindow('mudcycle.htm','animation','resizable=yes,width=710,height=520')"><img src="images/mudcycle.gif" width="349" height="512" alt="Mud cycle at wellsite" border="0"></a> So it links to this URL: http://www.seed.slb.com/en/scictr/watch/mud/mudcycle.htm Do a little View Source on that beyatch, and find that this is the embedded content: http://www.seed.slb.com/en/scictr/watch/mud/mudcycle.swf Clicking that link in Firefox gave me a download file dialog. An swf file is a flash file. Quick time may be able to play that file. Maybe not. I've reached the end of my helping.

Im sure there are similar apps for Windows too.

peepinmofo
It looks like it is pulling little poopies out of the ground, and then spitting them back out... What in God's name would you want that for?!
Ill Nuts
google "convert .swf to mp3" and prepare to wade. You should be able to find something free or a demo version, and prolly pick up some malware and viruses from russian websites as an added bonus.
