MojoMan
I'm going to be in Chicago the first week of December. I need to pick up a new stylish but warm (down to maybe about 15 degrees F) winter coat. Since I'm going to be in a real cold weather city, I figure the selection of heavy coats will be better there than in DC where I live. Is the first week of December too late to look for a coat (poor selection)?

TimC
You do know global warming will make these obselete by then. Or are you a sinner?
Hankk
What are you going to be doing? Hopping from cabs to buildings? Shopping? Building snow angels? (I doubt that there will be much snow, if any.) In any event, I don't see why you need a coat suitable for arctic temperatures. I doubt that its going to be that cold the first week of December. A fairly heavy leather coat should be more than enough. Edited September 5, 2007 by Hankk
