giantsfan
Need 1 as my # 2 RB. We get .5 per catch. Portis vs Miami AP vs Atl Touch call. Leaning towards AP, but Portis practiced great all week, and is said to be really ready to show what he is this season.
Snyper
Portis without a second thought. If Portis is healthy he will get the majority of the carries and I don't like a splitting time RB. Also I am betting Chester will get all the goalline carries in MIN Edited September 8, 2007 by Snyper
ts
Week #1, go with Portis ... even dinged up ... let's see how MIN plans to use AP before you plug him into the lineup.
Gros Membres!
I think Portis gets eased into the rotation and is full steam after the first month. Why burn him out early when he hasn't even been practicing? The other factor is that ADP has never played a regular season NFL game and Chester has been declared the starter. Are we looking at this year's Reggie Bush? Perhaps. If you're a gambler, you go with ADP and the good matchup vs. a weak ATL run D. But if you feel there's a lot of risk already in your lineup, Portis could have some success at Miami after practicing well and feeling like he has something to prove. SpinalTapp
DC Homer here. Portis is fine. His football conditioning is the only concern at this time. he will get at least 15-20 touches and all the goal line work. CP has something to prove to the world and he will start proving it on Sunday. Put him in your lineup and enjoy this ride until his knee tendinitis flares back up in Week 6 or his shoulder explodes again in Week 9. Get his points now while they are there to get and join the nation of Skins fans that are praying that the doomsday scenarios I just outlined do not come true. Good luck. If I had Portis, I'd be starting him... good luck.

AP with that left side could torch ATL this week. I'd give him the nod over the "injury plagued" Portis, whose role is in more question than Peterson IMO.
