i_am_the_swammi
standard scoring, no PPR. I am really high on Ahman this year, and love his week 1 match-up at home vs. the Chiefs. I am expecting 20-25 touches, though Ron Dayne pilfering redzone carries and TDs is a concern. I also love MBIII, at home vs the woeful Giant defense. The Cowboys should be able to move the ball at will, setting up plenty of red zone chances for Barber. i just worry that if the Cowboys do indeed get a lead, we'll see more Jones than Barber as their ball-control RB. And for some reason, I have a strange hunch they'll want to make this national-television game a chance for Romo to redeem himself and rebuild some confidence....and let him toss 2-3 TDs, vs. running them in. Very tough call....since this is a flex spot, I could also use Driver, but the decision is more between Green and Barber. Thoughts? John Crapper
I would play Barber. I'm no expert, but it seems like the Cowboys are shifting him to a more important role the scoring offence, and i'll bet they do a lot of scoring. =)
broncosn05
I'd give Ahman the start as it's easier to score on NY through the air and Green will get much more carries and still the goaline carries.

Cowboyz1
Swam, any other time I would go with Barber but Green will get a lot of carries Sunday. He looked good against the Cowboys D and was hitting the whole hard. They ran the best of all preseason teams we played. Green at home sounds safer to me. Schaub will pass well enough to open up the running game and Green will catch the dump offs also. I got a great feeling about Romo going off Sunday Night. Gros Membres!
Definitely Green here. I can't see Barber repeating last year's success and would give it a week. Green is the guy this week.
i_am_the_swammi
I got a great feeling about Romo going off Sunday Night. Thanks for the opinions, guys....especially the "homer" view from Cowboyz...I too see it more a night for Romo/Owens than for the Dallas running game. Any others want to chime in? Mucho appreciated. HowboutthemCowboys
Green "should" get the lion's share of carries today against the Chiefs. Phillips has said he plans on using Barber and Jones much the same way they were last season. Time wil tell. Until you see Barber's gonna get more action than Jones, I think you have to start guys like Ahman over him, especially with a good matchup like today.
