Natimp
I am sitting here in my office watching SNY Sports New York and they just mentioned that the NY Giants have an Interest and YES have called out to Tampa in regards to Chris Simms. Not much is known then that. They also have an Interest in Bryan Leftwich. If anything is heard by me or anyone else please post it here. Thanks
CaptainHook
why do they need a QB if Eli Manning isn't hurt as bad as ESPN is reporting?
CaptainHook
If they sign Leftwich, downgrade every single offensive player to Cleveland-esque proportions.

cory_n_az
If they sign Leftwich, downgrade every single offensive player to Cleveland-esque proportions. Couldn't disagree more here. Not only would a healthy Leftwich be a huge upgrade over Tubby and Hasselback (is he even there still?), but he's better than a quite a numberl of current NFL starters (McNair, Losman, Kitna, Oakland's starter, Cleveland's starter, Jacksonville's starter (sorry Jacky, you made the wrong choice), Miami's starter, KC's starter, Minnesota's starter, TBD on the current Washington starter Campbell). The problem is it is next to impossible to bring Leftwich in and expect him to produce in a new system. cory_n_az
You haven't seen Leftwich play as much as I have. I watch every single game of every single week so I don't think that's it Garrard is not a better quarterback than Leftwich. If you want to say Garrard took over because Leftwich couldn't stay healthy, fine. But better passer, I'll never agree with. Taylor and MJD better run nuts again this year or Jax is looking at a 6 win season max. Hopefully Del Rio gets canned and he ought to just alone for the timing of his QB decision. Then he can wear his nice suits in an office somewhere.
CaptainHook
Leftwich is horrible. His mechanics are terrible, and he has no touch. There is a reason he is currently unemployed.
