irish
I have McGahee as my other starter and I am considering benching LJ at Chicago in place of Deangelo williams vs the Texans Thoughts? NO WAY!! I undestand some folks wanting to start other solid options in place of LJ but Williams doesn't fit that description. Play LJ. Pope Flick
I"m a Bears homer, with DeAngelo in my local and am starting Fred Taylor over him. If the Chiefs score a TD it's 50/50 it'll be LJ (or Gonzo). If the Panther score, it could be from several different spots before DeA is even in the mix. Also, they're at LEAST a wash on yards, with LJ having a decided edge simply in attempts. My thoughts: bad move.

Junkyard
Started down a similar path thinking about Delhomme versus Brady against a tough San Diego D. Then my buddy slapped me in the head and brought me back to reality. Stop overthinking and go with LJ.

derenault
Why is it that everyone seems to be terrifed of using LJ against the Bears because they shut down LT last week? It was the first game of the season, RB's are trying to hit their stride. You gotta play LJ, and every week.....recall that Ronnie Brown (yes, the underachiever from Miami himself) torched the Bears on the ground last season. Herm's going to make sure the rock is in LJ's hands often this week, and if a TD is coming KC's way, it will be LJ's; Gonzo is a has been tight end who's seen better days.
