Grits and Shins
Peterson should be mentioned but he will probably get the Rookie of the year and the MVP will go to Brady unless the Pats implode or he gets hurt. Honorable mentition to Favre and Kitna so far. Moss will not be the MVP for two reasons. 1) He is playing at this level because of the team around him and everyone knows it. If the Pats were losing you would see the same old Randy. Same as when he was in MN and winning versus when the Vikings were losing. 2) He is not as popular with the press as Brady and they do the voting (I guess the fans now get a vote too but that meaningless.) Brady runs the team, with out him they are an average team. Brady has NEVER been a true consideration for MVP in any year prior to this one. The reason NE's offense is so explosive and the reason Brady has as many TDs as he does is not because he SUDDENLY stepped it up a notch, no the addition of Randy Moss to that offense is what took it to the next level. I agree...Moss made a lot of average QB's look good. Brad Johnson, Randall Cunningham, Gus Frerotte, Duante Culpepper.

They also added Stallworth and Welker, so, though Randy is the biggest reason, he's not the only reason.
Scooby
Favre has definately done more with less and Derrick Anderson would be a good one if the Browns were to make the playoffs.
