FishFreak
You gotta give this guy credit for being a warrior and putting up solid numbers. I stayed away this year expecting his knee to act up. If he can ever get close to 100% healthy, I think he can challenge Gates for best TE in fantasy. Seahawks21
I'm sure nobody will agree, but I didn't take much offense to his famous "soldier" comments. My friend and I took his Filipino father-in-law to a Jets game about a year ago, which was his first exposure to american football. He must have mentioned a dozen times how much it reminded him of knights being put into armor and then being pushed onto the battlefield. I'm not sure the enemy is trying to kill you, but they sure are trying to hurt you very badly. You are naive if you think football players don't enjoy making another player feel pain. Would I have said what he said, no way, but I can understand why he would think that. Tough kid, great talent. I'm becoming a fan.
loaf
And I'm not speaking to anyone in particular, yet. Ohhh, an immature college kid makes an off handed remark and he should be vilified for enternity? This guy is not even close to that kid. If you can't see that, then I feel sorry for you. He's class all the way and gives 110% each and every week. He does all the right things and says all the right things...

Well, not sure about the class part, but then again,...I guess you can say some stupid crap (didn't we all) when you are young and then mature as a person and become an outstanding individual. I didn't remember him spouting off about being a "souljah" or whatever...kind of like Kevin Garnett did...right? I won't even put these athletes in the same class as a warrior, but I'm not really gonna get all uptight about it.

I'm with ya Loaf...he's changed and learned from his mistakes...shoot look at the way he handled the Joey "and then when I wore my first dresstard" Porter incident earlier this year.
