Mojo20
I stand corrected. That is not so much a kayak as it is a toilet I think.

It's from the same magazine article. Same kayaker.

Spent about 10 days there a long time ago. Many fond memories of surfing the Lane. The ocean is ALIVE up there for sure.

'canes2004
A friend just sent us the latest movie made by the guys who surf Mavericks. Freaking insane. Mav's is too big too cold and too f'ing scary for me. I've seen it from inside the bay and on the cliffs but nothing I want to see up close. Since Mav's is becoming a over populated, a lot of the original Mav pioneers have found a new spot on the Monterey Peninsula. It's as heavy if not more heavy than Mav's but where as Mav's breaks a half mile out to sea, Ghost Tree breaks only a few yards off a rocky jagged cliff. One surfer has already lost his life there this year. Check it out: Ghost Tree
