AtomicCEO
Chapter 4 - How to Get More Distance Off the Elusive Shank Shot So, I think I posted somewhere that two weekends ago I played 18 while I wasn't feeling well. Front 9 (or the "sudafed 9"): Shot a 40 Back 9 (or the "dragging my dead ass 9"): Shot a 54 One of the highlights of the back 9 was that I actually got a birdie on a par 3 by completely skulling my 8 iron off the tee. Rolling, and pulled left, it bumped along just to the left of the water, hooked right around up the incline, and bounced up to within 8 feet of the cup for a one-putt. I've done this twice in my life now... the miraculous skulled shot that snakes it's way through the rough to within feet of the pin for birdie. I consider it a skill.
