SteelBunz
Don't forget the supplements. I'm not really convinced any ONE dog food out there has it all. There's a vet by the name of Carol Osborne who did her DVM here at Ohio State some years ago. She formulated a dog supplement while here called PAAWS, then later one called VitaLife for more aging dogs. For those of you who don't know.....OSU has an excellent college of Vet Med as well as a HUGH agricultural college. I once did a concert for a party at the Vet Fraturnity and holy geeze.....every single dog there was the most gorgeous and largest specimen of it's particular breed. All beautiful dogs with wonderful dispositions. These folks KNOW what they're doing.....LOL. Anyway....if you have an older dog or one past the age of 6 or 7 who has some joint trouble and/or allergy/energy problems, I've heard amazing things about VitaLife. It's not cheap....but the longevity and quality of life seems to be well worth it. Here's a rundown on VitaLife and the symptoms it helps. But the original supplement is named PAAWS. Check it out.
